Newly certified NCCER students - Congrats!

The South Cobb High School Construction & Safety Class is proud that in the last 4 years, 62 students have completed the program and been awarded NCCER Certification status. This is a Nationally recognized program and certification in the program is the first step pursuing a career in construction, drafting, engineering and a host of other top paying technical and trade jobs in the US.
Students completing and successfully passing all 8 required NCCER testing modules are entered in the national construction ANR online registry, given a certificate, wallet card, official transcripts that are recognized by hundreds of Technical Colleges offering advanced and continuing training in the program. Job recruiters and local trades working within the program who will give these students (based upon the certification) chances for summer work programs, job shadowing, apprenticeships and more.
Please help me congratulate the 22 students who achieved this certification status during the last semester.  If they are in your class please let them come see me to pick up their packets (unless enrolled this semester in my program):

Sincerely,
Ike Gilbert / Occupational Safety & Construction Tech Instructor SCHS

Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Please make a donation here: http://pages.teamintraining.org/ga/nikesf11/igilbert to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.

I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
